Ellen Page Online - Birthday Project 2011 - Video Wall

In early February, I asked my followers on Twitter, the people who like the EPO Facebook page as well as the members of the EPO forum to send in videos of themselves doing all sorts of things to wish Ellen a happy birthday. While 159 of you clicked on the bit.ly link posted on Twitter and 428 “Facebooker” viewed the posting, only 7 eventually decided to participate and record something. Since the majority out there wasn’t interested in this and apparently prefer simple stuff like clicking on the “Like” button on Ellen’s Facebook, I will refrain from doing similar things in future. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the following clips!

I have to thank Renfei, Ben, Patrick, Grant and Helly for contributing a video because I know it is not easy to be in front of a camera, especially for non-native English speakers. Of course also huge thanks to Emily and Jean. To pay tribute to your commitment, I will donate $2.50 US for each video on your behalf to the “Save the Honeybee Foundationand the international 350.org campaign. I believe Ellen will appreciate this generous and thoughtful gesture! Proof of donation receipts will be posted in the news section on Ellen Page Online in the next few days!
